Hi I’m DJ Alan. I care about the success of every wedding party I perform at. I want every party to be unique, fun and memorable for all the right reasons. I can be trusted to represent you on your wedding day with a professional stylish approach, manage your evening reception and provide fantastic disco entertainment which will ensure your party is a massive success. Booking a talented experienced DJ will be instrumental in ensuring the finale to your wedding day is a real celebration to remember forever. Organised & Planned

Great Wedding parties don’t just happen , they need careful planning before the event and of course someone to control and organise all the proceedings on the evening of the party. As well as playing great music and creating that all important party atmosphere I also manage and co-ordinate your evening liasing with other vendors and venue staff to make sure everything runs smoothly. Your party will be in safe hands All you have to do on the evening is enjoy the party.

Always Well Prepared & Punctual

A month or so before the big day I contact you to discuss exactly how you want your evening to be and the real planning for your evening begins. We will talk about music choices what your thoughts are on your choice for that all important “First Dance”. The week before your date is when we discuss all the finer details of your evening thus ensuring everything happens as planned. 

Depending on the venue, it takes an average of half an hour to set up all the sound and lighting equipment. I always arrive in plenty of time for your function, usually about an hour before the time stated on your evening invitations.

Smartly Presented

As a Wedding DJ I like to be smartly dressed when I perform as you would expect at a Wedding Party. I ensure my Equipment and set up looks neat and tidy . My logo appears on my booth but other than that I do not use advertising banners as part of my set-up ….. after all the person who makes our wedding cake doesn’t splash their phone number all over the icing !

Professional Sound & Lighting

Sound and lighting are focused on the dance floor where it belongs, so conversation isn’t a shouting match. Sound equipment used will depend on venue size and numbers attending your function. My sound system is suitable for audiences of up to 350 people; larger rigs are available by request. I always carry full back-up equipment if for any reason we experience an equipment failure.

Superb sound quality is complimented by A comprehensive range of stunning lighting and effects. Generally, I use soft coloured lights to generate a relaxed atmosphere, then as the night progresses our full intelligent lighting system will be called into play. I do not use strobe lighting or smoke as most venues now prohibit their use.

Massive Selection of music

I play to suit the crowd not myself so requests from the floor are always encouraged. The DJ forms a rapport with the crowd that keeps everyone, young and the not so young, happy. My vast selection of popular music from the 1950’s to today will meet the needs of all your guests, regardless of age. I welcome your playlist which you can generate online from our massive music database. Its a combination of your own requests, guests requests and those extra special tunes which I select which blends everything together to make a memorable night of great music and dancing 

So it’s the evening of your wedding party – here’s what happens:

  • As soon as I arrive (normally an hour before the time stated on your evening invitations) I will speak to you directly to let you know I’ve arrived or pass a message to you through the duty manager .

  • Wedding meal finishes and guests are normally asked to retire to another area of the venue whilst the staff set the room up for the evening party – I set-up and sound check and set the lighting to create a chilled pre first dance mood.

  • Once set-up I will then speak to the You and your partner regarding how the first dance will be announced and finally check all other “special” dances are correct.

  • The guests are invited back into the room ….. I check to make sure all the Bridal Party, Parents etc are in the room prior to the first dance and the Bride has not gone to “Powder her Nose” at the last minute !

  • The First Dance is announced and the first bars of the chosen music will coincide with the Bride & Groom’s first steps onto the dance floor …. the party has started.

Alan was the dj at our wedding and he was top class. he had the dancefloor filled, I was scared we wouldn't have a good dancing crowd but the tunes he played got everyone moving. he took song suggestions from us and also took requests from our guests which they loved. he took photos for us to remember also. great nights crack, lovely man, would definately recommend!!
